10 Days Tanzania Southern Safari Tours
This is one of the best places to visit if you are planning for a complete escape of the tourist crowds, Chimpanzee safari and marine-life adventures in Lake Tanganyika. You will visit to Kigoma, the oldest Town in Western Tanzania and is the place where Richard Burton and John Speke first reached the shore of Lake Tanganyika in 1858. It is the site of the famous meeting on 10 November 1871 when Henry Stanley found Dr. David Livingstone, and reputedly uttered the famous words “Dr. Livingstone, I presume?” You will have 2 days exploring Gombe National Park, the oldest Ujiji Town and Lake Tanganyika which is the second-oldest freshwater lake in the world, the second-largest by volume, the second-deepest, the world’s longest freshwater lake and one of the best lakes in the world for diving, snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. Trekking, swimming, snorkeling and beach leisure are just parts of your activities during your stay in Gombe and Kigoma Town. We will then take you to Mikumi National Park. Nicknamed as little Serengeti, Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-biggest National Park. With confirmed wild life sightings, it makes a perfect safari goal for those who are busy and have less time to travel.
Finally, you will fly to the Virgin Island of Pemba for beach leisure. Pemba offers wonderful food, breath-taking views, fabulous diving, and serenity.
