Last April, i.e. a couple of months back, we visited Governor's Camp Masai mara. While I have been to Masai mara before but for my family it was the first time and I had heard a lot abut the uniqueness of Governor's camp so I decided to take them there. We were to stay there for a couple of nights. We were travelling with another friend who also were a family of 4. So together we were 4 dults, 3 kids, and 1 infant. I had always heard good things about Governor's camp and my biggest attraction was the fact that they have their own aviation and they conduct unique safaris whereby they take you on small 13 seater flights from Nairobi (Wilson Airport) directly into the park and the same is for your return back to Nairobi. This was a very exciting prospect for the family who had never experienced such small planes before. And I can assure you it is a great experience. While returning back I had the unique opportunity to occupy the co-pilots seat and that in itself is a great photo opp and an awesome learning experience just by watching what the pilot was doing and experiencing landing as never before.
