The intoxicating aromas of fresh cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg will delight the senses and stimulate appetites, so while you are on te island please be sure to sample the sweet tropical fruits, fresh seafood and zesty curries Zanzibar is famous for. This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes, oils and spice rings. After taking a special locally prepared spice lunch we will drive back to Zanzibar Stone Town for leisure before we proceed with Zanzibar Stone Town tour.

A World Heritage Site, boasts a labyrinth of winding alleys, bustling marketplaces, beautifully carved wooden doors, breathtaking mosques and grand Arab residences. With streets too small and tightly packed for cars to cruise along, Stone Town is perfect for pedestrians. And getting lost. Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is Zanzibar’s biggest city which got its name from the fact that many of the gorgeous 19th-century buildings are built from coral stone. It may look ramshackle at first but this intriguing town is a living time capsule. The architecture here has been shaped by generations of explorers and spice traders and provides many interesting photography opportunities. We will pay a visit to some of the most interesting and attractive sites of Zanzibar Stone Town including the former slave market, National Museum, Old Fort and City Market. Dinner and overnight stay at Zanzibar Serena Hotel.
