We take breakfast early in the morning and get transferred to Dar es salaam International Airport to catch our domestic scheduled flight to Kigoma. After a meet and greet at Kigoma Airport, we drive to the Hotel for leisure and lunch. After lunch we travel to Ujiji for the sightseeing tour. Ujiji is the oldest town in western Tanzania and is the place where Richard Burton and John Speke first reached the shore of Lake Tanganyika in 1858. It is the site of the famous meeting on 10 November 1871 when Henry Stanley found Dr. David Livingstone, and reputedly uttered the famous words "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?" A monument known as the "Dr. Livingstone Memorial" was erected here to commemorate the meeting. There are also a modest museum and a former slave route near the market. We will visit and see many interesting places and historical sites scattered around the old town of Ujiji before we drive back to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

After taking breakfast, our Tour Guide will take us for Kigoma sightseeing tour. We will visit the fishing village, fish market, the historical port and some of the most interesting places and historical sites in Kigoma Town. This Town is located on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika which is the second-oldest freshwater lake in the world, the second-largest by volume, and the second-deepest, in all cases after Lake Baikal in Siberia. It is the world's longest freshwater lake. The town makes a good overland base for visits and chimpanzee safaris to both Gombe National Park and Mahale National Park. In the past, Kigoma has been in competition with the nearby Ujiji Town, but over the last decades Kigoma has gained a strong economic foothold in the region and its port is of central importance to the activities of the area. After the tour we drive to Kibirizi to take our private boat to Gombe National Park for lunch and leisure at Gombe Forest Lodge before we start Chimp Trekking in the forest until late evening. Dinner and stay overnight on full board basis.

08:00 after breakfast, accompanied by the guide, we will visit Kakombe Waterfalls and proceed with chimpanzee trekking in the forest. Gombe Stream's high levels of diversity make it an increasingly popular tourist destination. Besides chimpanzees, primates inhabiting Gombe Stream include beachcomber olive baboons, red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and vervet monkeys. Red-tailed monkeys and blue monkeys have also been known to hybridize in the area. The Park is also home to over 200 bird species and bush pigs. There are also occasional hippopotamus and leopards. After the tour we get back to the lodge for relaxing on the beach, go on swimming, snorkeling or just taking your time exploring the lodge which is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Gombe Forest Lodge has been designed with every comfort in mind. The construction of the camp has been done by using environment friendly methods and materials. The camp’s spacious tents are shaded by huge mango trees, just beside the lakeshore, and each tent features an en-suite bathroom, hot and cold water and a writing desk. After taking breakfast, we leave with our Tour Guide for the final forest walk in the Park. Gombe Stream's main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected within the park's boundaries. Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream's tropical forests. Val vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. Visitors to the park can do both activities, trekking into the forest to view the chimpanzees and also to swim and snorkel in Lake Tanganyika with almost 100 kinds of colorful cichlid fish. After the tour we get back to the lodge for late lunch and may be swimming on Lake Tanganyika. Thereafter we take a boat ride back to Kigoma town where will check in at Kigoma Hilltop Lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Meet and greet at Dar es salaam International Airport, drive to Tiffany Diamond Hotel and Spa for 1 night accommodation. This is also your day to relax and by your own, if you are interested you can use this day to explore Dar es salaam. Nestled along a natural harbor on the Indian Ocean, Dar es Salaam is a multicultural city, home to African Tanzanians, Arabic and South Asian communities, British and German expatriates, Catholics, Lutherans and Muslims. This diversity in people is reflected in the culture: the city boasts international cuisine ranging from traditional Tanzanian barbecue and Zanzibari food to Thai, Chinese and American restaurants. After breakfast we drive all the way to Bagamoyo, the oldest city in Tanzania. Bagamoyo played various historical roles in Tanzania. Apart from being a slave and ivory port, it was also a German headquarter in 1891. Explorers such as Burton, Speke, Grant, Livingston and Stanley all passed in this town. The name Bagamoyo comes from Swahili word "bwagamoyo" (throw down your heart), a despair expressed by people who were captured as slaves of knowing that they face a long uncertain future. Being here we will be able to visit some of the most historical and interesting places such as the Old Fort, Germany Boma, Germany Cemetery, Germany Hanging Place, Old Custom and Catholic Museum. After the tour we drive to Oceanic Bay Hotel for leisure and lunch before we drive back to Dar es salaam for dinner and overnight stay on half board basis.
