We start the tour by driving towards Nizwa Souq, is the city, famous for its handicrafts and agricultural products, has an expansive souq with an array of products. The souq bustles with vendors selling everything from meat, fish, fruits and Nizwa is renowned for it’s silver jewelry which is considered to be the best in the country.

Its people are masters in Khanjar making (curved dagger), recognized for its distinctive style and patterns. They also make copper ware, coffee pots, swords, leather goods and pottery. Our next stop is Nizwa fort-entrance fee not included, was built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Y`aribi in the middle of the seventeenth century. It was this imam who expelled the Portuguese from Oman. Then we continue to Birkat Al Mouz, is a small area situated about 2 km from the base of Jabal Akdhar. This luscious area nestled among dramatic mountainous contours is dappled with bygone architecture, authentic mud fortifications and the uncanny beauty of an abandoned village with a falaj skirting along the foot of Jabal Akhdar. Also you can find Falaj Khatmyn which is included in UNESCO World Heritage List. And lastly we drive towards Jabal Akhdar, is known for its Mediterranean climate. Temperatures drop during winter. Due to its location and unique weather, the Green Mountain produces a variety of fruits, such as apricots, plums, figs, grapes, apples and pears, as well as almonds, walnuts and saffron. The pomegranate that grows here is classified among the finest of its kind in the world. After the tour will drive back to Muscat and drop off.
