Meal Plan: Full Board
After early morning breakfast, head out to the park offices at 7:00 am to attend briefing on gorilla trekking. The head park guide in the Kinigi headquarters Musanze will share with you some of the important information related to gorilla trekking. briefing on gorilla tracking is a must attend activity in order to learn about how to act while with the gorilla families. A gorilla safari to Rwanda involves selecting a gorilla family for tracking from 10 habituated gorilla families. We recommend that you select one based on your overall fitness.  Then you will also need to hire a porter to help with your backpack. Gorilla trekking can be challenging but the excitement that comes with finally being about to see and watch the gorilla family makes is a worthwhile venture. While with the gorilla family, listen to instructions from the head park guide and avoid doing things that might provoke the gorillas. Gorilla watching is a one-hour activity after which you shall return to the starting point where your guide will be waiting for you. Go back to the lodge, have lunch and rest as you wait for the evening activity after gorilla trekking.  The driver/guide will take you to visit the Ibyiwacu cultural village which is located near the volcanoes national park in Musanze. You will be entertained by local cultural dancer and learn more

Meal Plan: Full Board
After the tiring gorilla tracking adventure yesterday, you should wake up at your own time and take late breakfast. Afterwards, checkout of the lodge and get ready to leave The Volcanoes National Park for Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. Lake Kivu is the largest fresh water lake in Rwanda and contains boiling gasses beneath. The lake spreads all the way to the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Once you arrive, you will have lunch overlooking the lake and go for a boat ride while hoping between the different islands found in the lake. Dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

This is your day to relax on the sandy beach and explore the lovely Lake Kivu by your own. Gisenyi, with a population of approximately 250,000 is a resort city in Rubavu district on the shores of Lake Kivu in the Western Province of Rwanda. The town is a home to number of resorts on the shores of Lake Kivu, where a number of hotels are found plus beautiful sandy beaches and warm waters ideal for water sports and beach leisure. The beautiful landscape villas, plush Hotels and clubs take up virtually all lake Kivu frontage and are quite a contrast to African town-ship on the hillside above. Dinner and stay overnight on full board basis.

Wake up at your own time and take breakfast before preparing for the journey back to Kigali. In case you missed touring the city of Kigali on the first day because of your arrival time, this will be the day when you will visit the different sites in the city. Afterwards, the guide will take you to Airport for departure. End of Tour
